The popular Amazon-owned livestreaming service Twitch, used heavily among video game fans, has formalised a policy to suspend users engaging in ‘severe misconduct’ occuring off the platform.
Examples of off-service offenses that Twitch deems serious enough to now enforce against include: deadly violence, terrorist activities or recruiting, explicit and credible threats of mass violence, sexual exploitation of children, sexual assault, and membership in a hate group.
